Containers and cross-border transport
From the quay to your warehouse, inland or across the border: we collect your containers at the ports of Douala and Kribi and haul them by tractor and semi-trailer, taking each corridor's constraints into account.
Needs we meet
- Getting a container out of the port and delivered inland.
- Moving goods to Bangui or Chad by road.
- Making a return leg pay by loading goods out of the Central African Republic.
What we offer
- Port collection — vehicle placement at Douala or Kribi port, loading and securing of the container (container chocks).
- Long-distance haulage — planned route with its stops and weighbridges; drivers familiar with the eastern and border roads.
- Border crossing — the driver presents the transport documents accompanying the load; customs formalities for the goods remain the responsibility of the licensed customs broker you appoint.
- Bagged goods to neighbouring countries — sugar, rice and other packaged goods on covered flatbeds.
- Return freight — review of a return load (for example timber) to optimise the round trip.
Corridors driven
- Douala / Kribi – Garoua-Boulaï – Bangui (CAR) — bagged sugar and rice, containers; timber on the return leg.
- Kribi – Chad and Douala – N'Djamena — containers, including a 40 ft container delivered to N'Djamena.
Before you request
For any shipment to a neighbouring country, please state: container type and number (20 or 40 ft, full, or empty to be returned), gross weight, exact nature of the goods, delivery place, your customs broker and the documents available. Every cross-border request is reviewed: we confirm feasibility, required documents and timing before any proposal.
Prepare your shipment
Gather goods description and packaging, weight and dimensions, exact addresses, dates, on-site contacts and loading and unloading equipment. Responsibilities and constraints are agreed before departure.
- Packing list, invoice and release documents.
- Container: number, type, full or empty status, gross weight and return instructions.
- Regulated goods: proper name, UN number if known, safety data sheet and prior review.
Operational sequence and communication
After review and approval of the proposal, a transport order assigns the vehicle and driver. Loading is checked and secured; your contact informs you at key stages. Delivery is jointly checked with a signed note. Road conditions, access, borders and availability are reviewed without a transit guarantee.
